After 25 years as a Canadian healthcare CEO, consultant, entrepreneur, and private clinic developer, I have developed a deep understanding of Canada's healthcare system. Like every system around the world, it faces real challenges—none more urgent than the growing shortage of physicians and nurses.

It became clear to me that a targeted, practical solution was needed. With more than 20 million nurses and 10 million physicians across G20 countries alone, there had to be a better way to educate, support, and encourage internationally trained healthcare professionals to build their careers in Canada.

That realization led to the creation of The Locum Café.
